Social media and news organizations banned or suppressed the story in 2020.
The House Oversight Committee conducted an investigation this past week into material allegedly hidden on a laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden. The day-long hearing produced debate between the parties as well as former social media executives. Social media leaders claimed the news item in question contained misinformation that would have impacted the 2020 election.
“America witnessed a coordinated campaign by social media companies, mainstream news, and the intelligence community to suppress and de-legitimize the existence of Hunter Biden’s laptop and its contents,” stated committee chairman Representative James Comer of Kentucky.
